Patrick Terminals Operations Update
In addition to the Protected Industrial Actions at Patrick Terminals already in place, further industrial action notifications have been received from the Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) for Patrick Terminals nationally. In particular, this notification advises of new action at the Fremantle, Melbourne and Brisbane terminals.
The details of the new Protected Industrial Actions are as follows:
Patrick Terminals - Brisbane AutoStrad
1-hour work stoppages at 03.30, 11.30 and 19.30 daily from Thursday 22nd July 2021 to Wednesday 28th July 2021 inclusive
24-hour work stoppages on Wednesday 21st July 2021 commencing at 07.00 and Thursday 29th July 2021 commencing at 07.00
Ban on overtime performance from 07.00 Thursday 22nd July 2021 to 07.00 Thursday 29th July 2021
Ban on shift extension performance from 07.00 Thursday 22nd July 2021 to 07.00 Thursday 29th July 2021
Patrick Terminals - Fremantle
Ban on work when rostered "off/avail" from 07.00 Wednesday 21st July 2021 until 07.00 Wednesday 11th August 2021
24-hour work stoppages on Thursday 22nd July 2021 commencing at 23.00 and Monday 25th July 2021 commencing at 23.00
Patrick Terminals - Melbourne
24-hour work stoppage on Friday 23rd July 2021 commencing at 07.00
Due to the continued industrial actions coupled with this new one, the current status at Patrick Terminals are as follows:
Patrick Terminals - Sydney AutoStrad
Terminal delays: Approximately 6.2 days
Average delay on-window vessels: 4.8 days
Average delay off-window vessels: 8.2 days
At present, there are no delays to the vessel schedule at the Brisbane, Melbourne and Fremantle terminals.
