Victoria COVID-19 Pandemic Orders Winter Settings 2022
As their ongoing management of the coronavirus pandemic, the Victorian Government advises an update in vaccination requirements. These changes to pandemic orders will come into effect from 11:59pm, Friday 24 June. workers in many sectors including "freight and transport operators, including at ports and airports" will:
no longer be required to work from home if unvaccinated.
The Victorian Government has announced that only Specified and Facility Workers are required to be fully vaccinated.
Under the Pandemic (Workplace) Order 2022 (No. 9), operative from 11:59pm on Friday 24 June 2022, only the following specified and facility workers are required to be fully vaccinated and if aged 18 or above, must have received a booster dose, unless they are an excepted person, or an exception applies:
• Custodial workers
• Disability workers
• Emergency service workers
• Healthcare workers
• Residential aged care facility workers, and
• Workers at specialist schools.
